Marinated in sunflower oil????
Sunflower oil isnt exactly a good option for marinading.
Plus octopus wont absorbe any oils.
Are you scratching round in the cupboards and that's all you've found? That's the only reason I can think for eating it!
a salad witch croutons!
You mean of course cooked octopus.....
Drain the oil, salt a pepper it if needed and give it a squeeze of lemon. Serve on a bed of crispy lettuce.
You could also:
Drain and cut into bite sized pieces and add:
1 small seeded %26amp; chopped tomato
1/2 shoopped red onion
2 tablespoons chopped flat leaf parsley
Mix with some olive oil %26amp; white vinegar. And then put this on your bed of chrispy salad.
I would do pasta, but drain the sunflower oil into a pan, use it to sautee finely chopped garlic and one, seeded, chopped jalapeno pepper and then add it, along with the octopus, to the hot pasta and toss it with some fresh, flatleaf parsley. Salt and pepper, optional. Hot, crusty bread and a green salad with lemon juice and olive oil. YUM.

grilled veggies- zuchinni, squash, asparagus. Maybe some light couscous.
