Is vegetable oil the same as olive oil or sunflower oil?

baking a cake and the recipe calls for vegetable oil and all i have is the other twoIs vegetable oil the same as olive oil or sunflower oil?

i mostly use olive oil for dressings on salads so use the sunflower oil and i don't think they are the same

haha. you're saying that as if olive oil and sunflower oil are the same thing. Well I would use the sunflower. The olive oil would exert its fruity flavour which is more for savoury dishes. Stick with the sunflower you'll be fine
