Is olive oil good for high cholesterol or sunflower oil?

my husband just found he has extremely high cholesterol (going way over and out of the charts) he exercises a lot, eats healthy, less sugar. we use olive oil in our cooking wondering if that is okay or not. I hear sunflower oil is the best, if anyone who has had favourable results please help. I'm really scared. Is olive oil good for high cholesterol or sunflower oil?
Olive oil is just fine as an oil for high cholesterol.

Supplementing with fish oil (capsule form is easiest) is a cholesterol helper, as is supplementing with garlic capsules.

Make sure he's getting enough fiber, too. Shoot for 35-50g of fiber per day. If he's not doing that don't add it all at once. Add a few grams every few days, otherwise his gastrointestinal system will be in pain!
